The pre-doctoral students Patricia Piñol and Alicia Alonso have been awarded for their work exhibited during the congress.
Patricia Piñol presented the study titled: Nintedanib as a new therapeutic agent for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy: preclinical and in vivo studies. This work was recognized as the best presentation of a young researcher on treatments in Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
Dr. Alicia Alonso received the Elsevier WMS Membership Award for her work Magnetic Resonance Image in Oculopharyngeal muscle dystrophy.
