The 15th International Congress of Neuromuscular Diseases (ICNMD 2018) will be held in Vienna the next 6 to 10 July. This congress is organized by the Neuromuscular Pathology Research Group of the World Federation of Neurology. Since 2014, this congress is held every two years. The objective is to present a broad spectrum of neuromuscular diseases and advances in research, diagnosis and treatment.
Dr. Querol, neuromuscular specialist of the Neuromuscular Diseases Unit of Hospital de Sant Pau, has been invited to present a talk on research in inflammatory neuropathies entitled: “Antibodies to the node of Ranvier in CIDP: a new clue therapy”.
On the other hand, Jordi Díaz, also a neuromuscular specialist of the unit will present the studies:
- Unravelling patern of muscle involvement using muscle MRI
- Correlation between muscle MRI and motor function tests in a cohort of patients with LImb Girdle Muscular Dystrophy 2B
