Jorge Alonso Pérez (Santa Cruz de Tenerife, 1989) was graduated with excellence in Medicine from the University of La Laguna in 2013. He completed his residency in Neurology at Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria Hospital, in Tenerife (2014-2018).

Since 2018 he is a clinical fellow in the Neuromuscular Diseases Unit of Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau, where he is working in the field of  hereditary and inflammatory myopathies.

Academic training:

• Degree in Medicine (University of La Laguna 2007-2013)
• Specialist in Neurology (Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria Hospital, Tenerife 2014-2018)

• Magnetic resonance study in muscular dystrophies
