Elba Pascual Goñi (Pamplona, 1989) received her medical degree from University of Navarra (2013). She completed a residency in Neurology at the Hospital of Santa Creu i Sant Pau (2018). For three months (2017) she worked in the laboratory of Kevin O’Connor at Yale University School of Medicine, where she collaborated in research on B cells and antibodies in myasthenia gravis.

Since 2018 she is a clinical fellow of neuroimmunology, where she is doing her PhD in identification of new autoantibodies in neuroimmune diseases such as immune-mediated neuropathies and multiple sclerosis.

Academic training:

• Degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Navarra, 2013
• Specialist in Neurology at the Hospital of Santa Creu i Sant Pau (Barcelona), 2018

Research areas:

• Immunopathogenesis of CIDP with particular interest in B cells and antibodies
• Role of B cells and autoantibodies in other neuroimmune diseases (immune-mediated neuropathies and multiple sclerosis).
