In 2021 he joined the muscle diseases laboratory of the research institute of the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau. He performs different processing techniques for specific histology, enzyme and immunohistochemical (EHQ-IHQ) muscle biopsies: Cox, NADH, ATPases, Oil red… Cell cultures of myoblasts and fibroblasts. Master techniques of Molecular Biology, WB, PCR, qPCR, processing fresh and frozen samples. Immunological double-labeled confocal microscopy, fluorescence. Extraction of DNA and RNA from peripheral blood, frozen samples, in formalin and paraffin.

Previously, he was at the Institute of Neuropathology of the Bellvitge Hospital from 2007-2015 and his functions were management, organization, reception and diagnosis by WB of human and animal neurological samples of prion diseases and their variants in a grade 3 containment laboratory.

From 2016-2020 he was part of the Endocrinology Laboratory, EDUAB-HSP group, CIBER-BBN, managing, organizing and receiving the private collection of endocrine tumors.
