Manuel Cabezas Torres finished his DUI studies in 1990, with more than 30 years of experience in the profession, 20 of which are in the different Neurology and Neurosurgery services of the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau.

Academic training:

• DIU Autonomous University of Barcelona. Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau Teaching Unit.
• Postgraduate in perioperative nursing.
• Specific training in Study and Memory Stimulation
• Enteral assisted feeding, dietetics and nutrition course for people with health problems.

At the moment:

• Case manager for people with minority diseases and neurology.
• Coordinator of the Multidisciplinary Clinical Unit of Motor Neuron Diseases.
• Reference nurse in the Memory Unit, providing education and support to relatives and patients diagnosed with cognitive impairment in its different variants, including cognitive impairment in patients with ALS.
